• Bus

There is a 5 minute walk (500 m) to Hostel Alieti from Izola bus station. Local bus service connectsKoper-Izola-Piran-Portoroz every half-hour on weekdays and every 40 minutes at the weekend. Koper is well connected with other Slovene towns, on weekdays with Triest in Italy (3 EUR, one hour, 23 km, up to 13 a day) and with some Croatian towns (Rijeka, Rovinj, Poreč).

• Train

There is a train station in Koper. You can catch a bus to Izola or go with taxi. Koper rail line linking Ljubljana (2 ½ hours) via Postojna and Divaca. To get to Buzet and Pula in Croatia from Koper, you must change at Herpelje-Kozina. (www.slo-zeleznice.si)
